I am so glad that I can work my hobby into my children's lives. Madie had a book report due tomorrow and it was on a "how to" book. Well, since we were out of eggs, peanut butter, baking cocoa, and a few other things (yes, I know, I need to go shopping), she asked if we could do one on a scrapbook page. Of course I jumped on that idea. I pulled out some of my scrapbook magazines and we found a simple scrapbook page to create and follow directions for. We custom made this with our own paper and picture but used the article as a guide. Madie was so happy to be able to use the Cricut!

Our Prophet has died
The 15th President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Gordon B. Hinckley, died at 7pm in his apartment in Salt Lake City, Utah. He will be missed much but is now with his sweetheart who passed away 3 1/2 years ago. President Hinckley was the only prophet I have known since I joined the church shortly after he was put in. I will miss his talks & inspired counsel.

I've been tagged!
Okay, I rarely do these but since my good friend Julie tagged me I will play.
A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
Bryan and I were living in a small apartment in Orem while I worked at Eagle Hardware & Garden and he attended BYU. We were expecting Katelyn and getting ready to move to Kentucky for dental school.
5 things on my to do list today...
I don't really make to do lists but if I did this would have been on it....
1. Go to the grocery store
2. Prepare for my church calling
3. Finish getting ready for a big Cricut Swarm I am co-hosting
4. Play with my kids
5. Finish all the chores
Snacks I enjoy...
I love to eat! That is why I am 25 pounds over my regular weight right now. Wish I could just give up food but, hey, I am here to enjoy some things, right?
What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire...
I hope that never, ever happens. I don't ever want to be rich. I am happy with everything I have and grateful for the financial stresses. They keep me in place.
3 of my bad habits...
1. I do waste some time on the computer but I am very good at multitasking so I get a lot done, too.
2. I nag my husband a lot and nag my children, too.
3. I dabble in a bit of everything. That is a bad habbit because then I get stressed and wish I could simplify my life.
5 places I have lived... well I'll just do since we've been married.
1. Citrus Heights, CA
2. Orem, UT
3. Louisville, KY
4. Gainesville, FL
5. Edmond, OK
5 jobs I have had...
1. Pooper scooper. Yep, my first job was at a catery. I made $4 a day for working from 2:30-7:30 every day. I wish I would have known about child labor laws back then. I was twelve but having $20 a week was nice for me.
2. KFC
3. Purchasing Agent at Eagle Hardware & Garden (Lowe's)
4. Godfather's Pizza
5. Stay at home mom
(I have had over 20-25 jobs in my lifetime. Most of them I had in HS and right after.)
Things people don't know about me...
I love to read. I spend at least 1 hour every night reading. I cannot fall asleep unless I've read something, anything.
Okay, I'm tagging my SIL Sheree, my SIL Linnea, my friend Eliza, & my friend Wendi.

Craig's Visit
We were so happy to have Craig come visit us for a long weekend!! The kids couldn't get enough of him. I also had a blast talking to him and making him laugh. On Friday night we took him to our favorite local restaurant, Pepe's. Then on Saturday morning we took him bowling. Saturday night Bryan & I took him to Johnny Corrinos for some yummy Italian food. Sunday after church we just hung out and had lots of time to chat with him. Monday morning the kids and I took him to the airport. Boo hooo!! We wish he could have stayed longer but we also know that he missed his family. Here are some of the fun pics I took.

Uh Oh!
Well, we just learned that we still have to watch Thomas when he is alone with Brayden. We had put Thomas in his room and Brayden in his crib in the other room so we could have a peaceful family scripture study and family prayer. We could hear Brayden crying different and this is what we found....
Apparently Thomas had taken all the bedding off the girls' beds and everything that was on the floor and stuffed it around Brayden. We are just thankful that he didn't put it on top of him and then get in, too. This happened two times in one night. We just don't leave Thomas alone anywhere near the baby. We were very lucky this night.

October 2007 Highlights
I just got back my pics for October 2007 and realized that I didn't share any of them on my family blog. We had a very busy month with over 200 pictures alone!!
In the middle of the month we were able to take Bryan's staff & their families to the Orr Family Farm in OKC.
Madelyn performed in the 2nd grade play called Geology Rocks with her class. She was a scientist. Very fun play!
Here is us at our Ward party.

1st Day of Primary
Thomas started Primary yesterday and was the youngest one in his class. In our church the children go to Nursery from the time they are 18 months and then if they turn 3 before the 1st of the year they move up to Primary with all the other children up to 12 years old. Thomas was so happy to be in the big kid class with his brother and sisters. I can't believe I have 4 children in Primary!! Here is a pic of our happy boy.
